For the past two weeks, former UFC heavyweight champion Ngannou has been in Saudi Arabia getting ready for the most important event in his combat sports career.
And following the Saudi team’s 4-3 victory over Al-Duhail on Wednesday, he ended himself running into Portugal’s star player, Ronaldo, and another familiar face, Al-Nassr.
On his Instagram and X pages, the MMA man-mountain posted a number of pictures of himself and Ronaldo, who also posed for pictures with his mother and brother.
“It’s great to see you this week, my brother @Cristiano,” was the caption that went with it.
“And I appreciate you inviting my family and I to the @AlNassrFC game.”
The 36-year-old Ngannou then stated that Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner and former Manchester United player, would be present at the bout.
“See you Saturday #FuryNgannou,” he added.
Since they first met in the Kingdom in January, Ngannou and Ronaldo are well acquainted.

Additionally, PFL pounder Ngannou recently asserted that Ronnie was crucial to his battle with Fury’s reconciliation.
“Yes, that’s where it started in that moment,” the Cameroonian clubber recalled when discussing their encounter during an appearance on The MMA Hour.
He stated in a different interview with TMZ: “We had a good talk. “Saudi Arabia is the future,” he assured me.
“A lot of people don’t understand right now, but things are changing and progressing quickly.
And that’s exactly how I felt when I arrived, personally.
“I literally didn’t know how to carry myself or behave myself because it was my first time visiting Saudi Arabia.”
However, when I arrive, I discover that everything is cool.
