While Real Madrid was winning the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund, Jude Bellingham spent some time with some old teammates.
Real Madrid came back from being down 2-0 to beat Borussia Dortmund 5-2 on Tuesday in the Champions League. In the game, which was a rematch of last year’s final, Bellingham set up a goal against his old team and then hung out with Donyell Malen and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens.
With the caption “Looking back on some great memories,” Bellingham posted a picture of himself after the game and tagged Gio Reyna.
Malen and Bellingham were seen trading shirts after the win at the Santiago Bernabeu. First, Malen scored for Dortmund. Then, Bynoe-Gittens made history by scoring against Real Madrid in the Champions League. He was the youngest Englishman to ever score in that game. The game was a memorable European night in the Spanish city, but Bellingham’s team still came back and won.
Since the start of last season, Bellingham has set up more goals in the Champions League than any other player (6). Meanwhile, Reyna is still out because he hurt his hip while playing for the US men’s national team abroad in September.
