Reports say that REAL MADRID wants to make a huge move for Arsenal star Gabriel Magalhaes.
After Eder Militao hurt his knee ligament, which will keep him out for months, the Spanish giants want Gabriel, who is 25 years old.
Even though Carlo Ancelotti, Madrid’s manager, says his team has a lot of players who can play that position, the club is still looking at its choices in the market.
Gabriel started every game for Mikel Arteta last season, but he was put on the bench for Arsenal’s first Premier League game against Nottingham Forest.
There have been rumors that he is wanted in Saudi Arabia, and now the Daily Mail says that Real Madrid is also “genuinely interested” in signing him.
Transfermarkt says Gabriel is worth £47 million.
He would have to change his mood a lot at Arsenal, though, for a move to happen.
He is said to be happy and dedicated to the cause at the Emirates.
Also, Arsenal would have less of a reason to sell because Jurrien Timber has been hurt for a long time.
Oleksandr Zinchenko’s iffy fitness is another thing that makes it hard to sell.
Tonight, Arsenal has to go to Crystal Palace to try to get their second win in a row this season.
Thomas Partey could play right back for Arteta, just like he did against Forest, to upset the Forest defense.
This could mean Gabriel is sent back to the bench, though.
Another player being looked at by Aston Villa is Nuno Tavares, whose move to Forest fell through.
