Real Madrid’s finest attacking lineup included players like Vinicius, Mbappe, and Rodrygo. The group led by Coach Ancelotti was determined to keep up the pressure on Barcelona in the race for the top spot. Real Madrid pushed up their formation to try to score against a less formidable foe. They opened the score 1-0 for the home team in the opening minute as Vinicius produced an outstanding break and then passed back for Lucas Vazquez to finish with a single touch. Real Madrid was able to play with more energy and control the game thanks to the early goal. But the strikers for Real Madrid played a bit hurriedly and consistently squandered decent chances.
Real Madrid did not start to make an impact until the fortyth minute. Real Madrid’s lead was increased to 2-0 when Bellingham skilfully passed the ball for Mbappe to run down. The French striker dribbled and scored with style. Real Madrid kept adding goals three minutes into the second half. The ‘White Vultures’ led 3-0 after Rodrygo took a technical turn in the 48th minute and finished strong to beat custodian Sivera. Real Madrid dominated the midfield area and played with ease, leading 3-0. But like in the first half, Mbappe and his teammates kept missing chances, and Real Madrid nearly paid the price.
Benavidez’s precise shot from outside the penalty area in the 85th minute cut the score to 1-3 for Alaves, who played with great intensity in the closing minutes of the game. Kike Garcia, an Alaves replacement, scored the team’s second goal a minute later. At the end of the game, Real Madrid’s clumsy defence allowed them to win 3-2 at the Bernabeu. Following seven La Liga rounds, coach Ancelotti’s club briefly closed the score with the leading team, Barcelona, to one point. Real Madrid will play their eighth-round La Liga match against Atletico on September 29. Three days later, they will travel to Lille to play the second leg of the UEFA Champions League group stage.
