A new article on Defensa Central says that Real Madrid wants to sign Jobe Bellingham, a young player for Sunderland. Real Madrid is reportedly keeping an eye on the English player’s progress in case they decide to make a move in the future.
How Fast Bellingham Grew at Sunderland
In his youth, Bellingham played for Birmingham City. But this summer, he chose to join Sunderland. The 18-year-old has done a great job for his present team, scoring three goals and setting up one other in 17 games this season.
The star player for Stourbridge has done a great job in both halves. In the EFL Championship, he makes 1.2 tackles, 0.6 saves, 1.4 clearances, 1.4 shots, 0.8 important passes, and 0.6 dribbles every ninety minutes. His pass success rate of 85.3% in the second division of English football (stats from who scored) shows how well he has done when passing the ball in the other team’s half.
Even though Bellingham likes playing football for Sunderland, he might want to move on if Real Madrid makes him an offer next season. He is still very young (18 years old), so it will take some time for him to show what he can do.
Are there good things in the future for Bellingham?
Bellingham can help his team in their own half by getting the ball well and giving it up a few times. He can only hit the ball far away, but he’s not afraid to stop the threat when it comes up.
The English player can quickly run with the ball in the other team’s half and has great field vision that helps his teammates up top make good plays. He is sometimes asked to play as a box-to-box player instead of an attacking midfielder.
Bellingham should make Real Madrid’s game-day team stronger and better. The fact that he can play for the first team at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium shows how good he is.
Real Madrid should work hard to get Bellingham soon because he is definitely a player to watch in the future. Besides that, he would be a great long-term replacement for Luka Modric for Real Madrid.
