Jude Bellingham ‘given huge pay rise by Real Madrid to match Kylian Mbappe’s £12.6m annual salary as the club try to keep hold of the England star😍😍

Reports in Spain say that Jude Bellingham has been given a big pay rise at Real Madrid to bring his yearly salary up to the same level as Kylian Mbappe’s.

Jude Bellingham's pay rise at Real Madrid has moved his salary level with Kylian Mbappe's

Mbappe joined as a free agent in the summer after leaving Paris Saint-Germain. He was given a starting salary of €15 million (£12.6 million), which made him the highest-paid player at the club, ahead of Bellingham and Vinicius Junior.

A big bonus added to Mbappe’s annual pay, but his base salary is still the most that Madrid’s best players make. Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, and Eden Hazard have all made the same amount.

Mbappe arrived at the club as a free agent and was placed on base earnings of £12.6million

But before the striker came in, Bellingham and Vinicius were getting a crazy €10m (£8.4m) a season, making them the highest-paid players in Madrid.

The €5m (£4.2m) difference in pay for Mbappe, on the other hand, is said to have made them unhappy, which is why the club took action.

The three players’ wages will now be the same, at €15m (£12.6m), according to the same source. This was made by Madrid president Florentino Perez.

It is said that this is done to avoid any possible differences between them.

Because of the change, Bellingham and Vinicius’s pay has gone up by €5m (£4.2m) since the beginning of the season, putting them on par with Mbappe.

Capology.com says that David Alaba is the next highest-paid player in the Madrid camp. The experienced back makes €22.5 million (£18.9 million) a year.

Fede Valverde makes €16.7m (£14m) a year, which puts him in fifth place on the list. Thibaut Courtois, the number one custodian, makes €15m (£12.6m).

Rodrygo, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Eduardo Camavinga come in second with €12.5m (£10.5m), followed by Antonio Rudiger and Eder Militao on €14.8m (£12.4m).

After being hurt, Bellingham played again this week against Stuttgart in the Champions League. He is thought to be one of the best players in the world.

In an interview with FourFourTwo, Michael Owen gushed about the player and praised his “swagger” on the pitch for both his club and his country.

Owen said, “Jude quickly made himself into one of the world’s great players.”

“Playing for a club like Real Madrid is hard because everyone is watching and criticizing you for every mistake. If you can handle that and stay at the top level, you’re among the best in the world.” He is amazing.
