Now that September’s internationals are over, Erik ten Hag is keeping an eye on the Manchester United team as they get back together at Carrington.
After a short break, the Reds are back in action right away. They travel to Southampton for the first Premier League game after the break on Saturday lunchtime.
After losing to Brighton & Hove Albion and Liverpool, United has a chance to set a goal and move on to a busy stretch of games that includes seven games in 22 days across three tournaments.

Several players who played for their countries this past week were taken on Thursday. Bruno Fernandes, who played in his 600th game for Portugal in a 2-1 win over Scotland, was one of them.
Along with Matthijs De Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui, who were signed in the summer, Fernandes got the equaliser for the Selecao in Lisbon, Diogo Dalot and Joshua Zirkzee have also been in the goals and were at the session.
Even though Argentina’s World Cup match in Colombia didn’t end until late Tuesday night, Alejandro Garnacho and Lisandro Martinez were also seen. Casemiro, Marcus Rashford, and Jonny Evans, who recently retired from international football, were also in the group.
This season, Toby Collyer has already played twice, against Manchester City in the Community Shield and Liverpool in the last game. He will be eager to add to that number after trying himself against them.
Manuel Ugarte, a player, didn’t play because he just got back from Uruguay on Thursday.
But during his news conference, Ten Hag said that the Uruguayan could possibly make his debut on the south coast.
