Just one week after another error gave Germany the lead, MATTHIJS DE LIGT made it three in a row.
De Ligt had a nightmare on Saturday as Holland defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina 5-2 in the Nations League, with him being at fault for both goals.
The new Manchester United player gave an X-rated evaluation on his awful performance, saying, “It’s f***ed up.”
But when the Dutch played Germany in Amsterdam three days later, his problems reappeared.
Tijjani Reijnders’ early goal had put his team up when De Ligt received the ball just beyond his own penalty area seven minutes before halftime.
But for whatever reason, the careless former Bayern Munich defender missed his pass into midfield, allowing it to be intercepted.
Germany struck quickly, deflecting a shot on goal in two passes.

Bart Verbruggen made the first stop, but Denis Undav was left with an easy opportunity to level the score with a powerful shot.
After yet another egregious error, the TV cameras cut to a distraught De Ligt, who was shaking his head and placing his hands on his hips.
Virgil van Dijk, the captain and star of Liverpool, was visibly upset at his teammate, repeatedly pounding his palm into the ground before appearing to let out his frustration.
And others observing the scene did not waste any time in criticising the faltering celebrity.
Though some hopeful United supporters fervently hoped De Ligt was just clearing his record before hitting his best form again at Old Trafford.
“Everything under control and then such an error by Matthijs de Ligt—this is just not acceptable,” one person remarked. I adore him, but it seems like he will never be able to move past these mistakes he has made in his career.”
Another wrote: “Do you think it’s fair to call Matthijs de Ligt finished after this mistake?”
A third added: “Man Utd have got both Harry Maguire and Dutch Harry Maguire in De Ligt.”
A fourth person said, “I’m not sure why, but I keep thinking of Harry Maguire.” Are #MUFC supporters should we be concerned?
A fifth joked: “De Ligt getting all his mistakes out for Netherlands so he can drop top performances for United.”
One last comment read, “Man Utd DNA in this De Ligt performance for Netherlands, another mistake.”

Almost immediately following the De Ligt gaffe that resulted in Germany’s equaliser, Nathan Ake, another defender, appeared to strain his hamstring.
The Manchester City star was on the verge of tears and needed to be taken off a stretcher.
As the 2014 world champions took the lead in the third minute of first-half injury time, Joshua Kimmich produced a goal that made the Oranje’s startling few minutes even worse.
After that, De Ligt was brutally sent out at halftime, and Jan Paul van Hecke of Brighton came on for the second half.
However, five minutes after the interval, Denzel Dumfries made it 2-2, securing a draw for Ronald Koeman’s team.
De Ligt is expected to play again for the Red Devils on Saturday around lunchtime at Southampton.
