NOTHING TO HIRE: Lisandro Martinez under fire for controversial photo as Man Utd fans fume ‘this is not the time’

After posting a contentious picture, LISANDRO MARTINEZ received harsh criticism from Manchester United supporters.

The defender, who has had a challenging few weeks with United, is currently overseas on international duty with Argentina.

Martinez started the following two games against Brighton and Liverpool, the latter of which Martinez was humiliated 3-0.

However, he posed for a picture with his Argentina teammate, Reds star Alexis Mac Allister, only a few days after that disgrace.

Martinez, 26, grinned in the picture and avoided posing with any other teammates, which infuriated United supporters.

“Mate, we just got battered by Liverpool on Sunday,” one person responded. Pick carefully when to share a photo of yourself with a Liverpool player. Licha, now is not the time.”

Another said, “This is Martinez’s proper s****.

Martinez was on the end of a 3-0 drubbing from Liverpool

“Unfortunately, players today don’t seem to care as much about rivals as they did ten years ago. I abhor the current state of football.”

Another added, “The harsh reality is most of the players at the club don’t care about results or understand the culture and rivalries.”

Another person said, “He talks about passion and the shirt so much that he doesn’t understand the basics.” Right now, this picture is just so incorrect.”

Following the Liverpool loss, Alejandro Garnacho, another Argentine Red Devil, received backlash online.

This season, the winger has not lived up to the lofty expectations set for him by one fan, who uploaded a compilation film of Garnacho misfiring passes and losing the ball.

In a since-deleted tweet, Garnacho responded, saying, “Wasting your time making clips of me – your life so far.”
