What followed as a result?
Wednesday night, it seemed as though the Real Madrid player’s X account—previously known as Twitter—had been compromised. The attacker denied a return to Paris Saint-Germain, applauded United, and berated other teams while hailing Ronaldo as the best player in football history—rather than Lionel Messi.

Mbappe has had a busy day, but the tweets have already been taken down. The 25-year-old hasn’t exactly taken off since joining Real Madrid earlier in the summer after leaving PSG. WERE YOU AWARENESS? Mbappe’s social media accounts have been hacked in the past. In late 2019, when he was still at PSG, he changed his display name to “Kylian Mbappé Hacked by TSU x FanTarte” after a group of hackers gained control of his Twitter account. They did not tweet anything, but they changed his bio to read “Hacked by TSU.” FanTarte, Nitroz, and KuzoTR. What comes next? Despite his problems on social media, Mbappe will be back in action for Real Madrid on Thursday night when they visit Las Palmas in La Liga.
