Seemingly hacked, Kylian Mbappe’s Twitter account featured praise for Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United.

The Real Madrid player’s X account, which was formerly Twitter, appeared to be hacked on Wednesday night. The attacker praised Ronaldo as the greatest player in football history—rather than Lionel Messi—ruled out a return to Paris Saint-Germain, praised United, and criticised other teams.

The tweets have already been removed, but Mbappe has had a somewhat hectic day. The 25-year-old left PSG for Real Madrid earlier in the summer, but he hasn’t exactly taken off. Manager Carlo Ancelotti has faith in the France international to improve despite everything.

Mbappe’s social media accounts have previously been compromised. When he was still with PSG in late 2019, a group of hackers took over his Twitter account, changing his display name to “Kylian Mbappé Hacked by TSU x FanTarte.” They updated his bio to read “Hacked by TSU” but did not tweet anything. KuzoTR, Nitroz, and FanTarte.”
