A key player in the middle of Real Madrid’s midfield scored a new goal on Sunday and dedicated it to head coach Carlo Ancelotti.
The player in question? Diego Federico Valverde.
Valverde, an all-around playmaker, just had another great performance.
The Uruguayan was the star of Real Madrid’s 3-0 win over Real Valladolid, and his performance was so good that he was named Man of the Match at the Santiago Bernatchez.
This included Valverde’s powerful, deflected shot from far away that found the bottom corner of the away team’s net to score the match’s first goal.
When he talked to the reporters after the game this evening, the 26-year-old had to talk about his latest goal, which made it two in three to start the new season.
