As the 2024–2025 season gets closer, Manchester United releases its newest partnership with adidas Originals. This is another step in the club and its partnerships’ stylistic growth. A full ‘LFSTLR’ collection, with a return to retro styles, was shown along with the third jersey that was revealed a few days ago. This jersey features the iconic trefoil on the chest of football shirts again.
Revealed shortly after the jersey, the ‘LFSTLR’ collection includes several pieces designed to be worn both on the pitch and in everyday life. The long-sleeved, collared jersey, in black, is enhanced with a subtle Trefoil motif and the Red Devil crest in red. This flagship piece is accompanied by a track jacket, hoodie, tee and track pants, all featuring similar elements in terms of colour and design.
The adidas Originals promotional film, starring actor Barry Keoghan, highlights the overall mood of the collection and its connection to the club’s visual identity. The film not only serves to promote the collection but also reinforces Manchester United’s image as a club that values both its heritage and its current brand image. The launch is also an opportunity to showcase how sportswear can transcend its primary function to become lifestyle icons.
With this initiative, Manchester United and adidas Originals are not just launching new products. They are reaffirming their commitment to merging sport with popular culture, allowing fans to wear their passion every day.
